A Glossary of the most successfully used Chinese herbs in herbal preparations for men’s sexual performance, vitality, endurance and stamina.

The following list of herbs have been tried and tested over thousands of years in Chinese Herbal medicine. Some of these herbs are used for daily culinary purposes too.

A balanced combination of the following herbs and their extracts will enhance men’s ability to perform better. These herbs are normally used in Chinese concoctions, brews and soups. In keeping with this tradition, they have been known to function at their best when consumed in a similar manner.

A combination of the following herbs in a ‘herbal brew’ for example, would produce noticeable results in men’s sexual potency.

Active constituent : Icariin, Epindoside

Asiatic Cornelian Cherry( Fructus corni )

This herb is traditionally used in the treatment of impotence, premature ejaculation, frequent urination, incontinence,and menstrual problems. It strengthens the liver and kidneys. Used in combination with other herbs, it is also effective in the treatment of tinnitus, general weakness, lower-back pain, and can help to reduce fatigue.

Desert-living Cistanches Herb( Herba cistanches)

Active constituent: Iridoil, Phenylpropenoid glycocides

This herb increases your sexual ability and drive, and is a rejuvenating kidney tonic. It replenishes your vital essence and blood and is used to treat weakness of muscles and bones, impotence in men, and premature ejaculation. 

Eucommia Bark( Cortex eucommiae )

Active constituent: Aucubin, Chlorogenic acid

Active constituent : Kaempferols

This tonic herb benefits the kidneys and liver, and every part of this plant is used for medicinal purposes.It is used for pains in joints and rheumatoid arthritis. Balsam seed invigorates blood circulation and aids in healthy penile erections, and also gets rid of toxins, promotes healthy menses, expels phlegm, eczema and tumors.  

Indian Mulberry ( Cortex mori )

Active constituent : Phytosterols, Anthraquinones

Mulberry has a long history of medicinal use in Chinese medicine and is used to treat coughs andshortness of breath, fever and night sweat. The fruit has a tonic effect on the kidneys. It is used in the treatment of urinary incontinence, dizziness, tinnitus, insomnia, neurasthenia, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, bronchitis, premature greying and constipation in the elderly.

Membraneous Milkvetch( Radix astragali )

Active constituent : Astragalosides

Milkvetch root is commonly used in Chinese herbalism and is warming and invigorating.

It promotes blood circulation , strengthens the heart, dilates peripheral, coronary, cerebral and intestinal vessels, and improve micro-circulation resulting in enhanced penile ******** in men. This tonic herb also stimulates the immune system increasing stamina and endurance and is used to treat infertile men. Tests have shown that Milkvetch increases ***** motility and encourages the vigorous activity of *****. 

Spirifer Fossil Shell( Fossilia Spiriferis )

A mineral supplement, this fossil-based nutrient is used traditionally in the treatment of impotence and sexual dysfunction.
